When Hanna was first born, she was so tiny that we had to put a special headrest in her swing to keep her supported. Yesterday she was two weeks old, and she’s already outgrown the headrest.

Ryan and I are both dancing around in extremely giddy moods this morning because we got more sleep last night than we have since we brought Hanna home. She only woke us up every three hours! Hanna is one week old today. When she was born, her hands and feet were all wrinkly, like they had slightly too much skin for their size. They’re not wrinkly anymore, now they are smooth and plump.

Hanna had her first doctor’s appointment today, and one of the fun things we learned was that a well-stocked diaper bag contains not only new diapers, but new clothes.
