Steve Novick was on my bus this morning. It makes me very happy to actually see public figures out and about, using public services and really living in the communities they’re trying to represent. He lost the Senate race this time around, but I’d be glad to see him run again.

I know I’m probably just easily impressed by technology stuff, but my sweetie got me a wireless mouse and keyboard for my laptop (it’s a tablet thingy, so while it does have a keyboard, it’s not designed to be easy to use) and they’re just the coolest things ever. It just occured to me that I can properly be called “ma’am” now. I’m not sure I’m entirely comfortable with that idea yet.

Answering questions honestly and failing to watch reality television does not make you a popular person in an office setting. So, apparently my bank just got bought out because it was on the verge of collapse. I’m glad I’m finding this out now, as opposed to, say, a week ago. I guess I read the wrong kind of newspapers.
