Wow. This whole high speed internet thing is amazing. I mean, I can actually watch all those videos people like to post all the time. Remind me why I didn’t get this years ago? Oh yeah, I remember now, because I’m stubborn and a skinflint. That’ll teach me.

I’m starting to get a bit carried away with this whole volunteering at literary events thing. Tonight is was this one. I’m taking next weekend off for the holidays.
My house has been warmed.
Now I know the economy is in trouble.
Being sick really throws off one’s schedule for the week.
So I volunteered at this event over the weekend. The first day I was on author minding duty (escort authors up to the VIP lounge and get them checked in, then collect authors from the VIP lounge and escort them to the proper stage for their readings) and the second day I did merchanting and [...]

This is my new favourite game.
So I’m a week behind on NaNo, but at least I’ve started. 1,105 isn’t bad for an hour’s worth of writing last night. (Incidentally, moving+NaNoWriMo=bad idea.)
